Distribution of Prescription Eye Glasses, Shoes and School Bags at BT/PD/Palugamam Kandumany Maha Vidyalayam in Thiruppalugamam

Mr. Nico Mahinthan of Peer 2 Peer Foundation, Sri Lanka visited  Palugamam Kandumany Maha Vidyalayam in Thiruppalugamam today to distribute prescription eye glasses for students who were identified needed prescription eye glass. Out of 200 students went through the eye examination and 75 students were identified requiring eye glasses. Peer 2 Peer foundation facilitated the eye examination of these students and worked with an optometry for preparation and distribution of those eye glasses.

In addition, Peer 2 Peer also distributed shoes and school bags for need students at the same school. Please see the photos from the event and the appreciation letter from the school principal.
